REM POD comes with the REM LEDS on top of the POD with an antenna. When an activity is present near the POD emits an audible tone with flashing multi-colored LEDs. This device has shadow detection which is a red LED light beam that links to the device. If the beam is crossed, an audible alarm tone sounds. The POD is powered by (1) 9v battery (not included)
In addition to detecting AC/DC EMF & ambient temperature changes in the environment, this device also uses a mini telescopic antenna to radiate its own independent magnetic field around the instrument.
This EM field can be easily influenced by materials and objects that conduct electricity. Based on source proximity, strength and EM field distortion, four multi-colored LED lights can be activated in any order or combination.
This device also includes our popular SDD Shadow Detection audible alarm circuit. This feature is intended to further help promote and advance paranormal research.

The bottom of the REM POD has a dual switch; one side is the REM-POD only, and the other is REM-POD plus SDD Shadow Detection, middle is off.
There is a button for sensitivity; push it to get the desired shadow detection sensitivity.
There are (2) IR illuminators, one for short distances to the REM-POD and the other for longer distances to the REM-POD.
Anything that passes the beam of light will set off an audible tone.
REM only, turn on the device and pull up the antenna. To reset the unit if the lights don't turn off, gently tap the antenna until the lights go off. You are now ready. Anything that disrupts its field will cause the lights to flash and sound tones. The stronger the activity, the more the lights flash with variable tone sounds.
