This device is a bionic low-noise microphone unit that has very sensitive microphones in each port providing 360 sound with Bionic Sound technology. The device is designed to simulate human hearing when recorded. Once recorded, you can pinpoint the direction of sound from playback from a Zoom brand recorder or other compatible recorders with mic/line-in or live output. For normal recording, set your recorder's input level to 40% or 50%, for bionic level, bring the input level to 100%. These are more commonly used by paranormal investigators as master verification sound recorders to verify sounds they might have heard in order to verify or debunk sounds.

This system was designed to hear everything from distant voices to verify man-made interference that can interfere with other paranormal devices like EMF, Cell signals, RF, etc.

The renter must ship back the rental items the day after the 3-day rental unless renting for more days. Our shipping options include insured shipping to you and return shipping back to us. Please keep your receipt when dropping off your package at your nearest UPS store.
 
The return shipping option label will be printed and placed in the box for easy return. Please return your rental in the same box with the same packing material. Please drop off your rental after your last rental day at the nearest UPS store.

Be careful when using headphones if the input volume on your recorder is 100% if you are too close to the unit you will get feedback in your ears. Test the unit with a moderate volume level then unplug your headphones and bring it up to 100% then leave it alone. It will capture all noises from man-made or objects being moved. Use it as a master recorder to compare with your investigator's EVP recorders to verify any sounds you thought you heard. The best coverage in large areas, put one in every room.

Our MAX360 6-Point Microphone Standard Unit has 6 strategically placed sensitive bionic microphone capsules in a pattern to simulate human hearing. The microphones also have built-in windscreens to prevent wind noises. These microphones were designed for normal recording or bionic level sounds to aid paranormal investigators in their research to find answers to claims of paranormal activity.

Upgrade to Super-bionic for additional cost: The Super-bionic model includes (2) super-bionic mics and (4) Standard bionic mics.

Upgrade to Ultra-bionic for additional cost: The Ultra-bionic model includes (6) Super-bionic mics.

Based on Left and Right hearing as well as Front and Back corners. The unit uses no battery power but you can use a pre-amp module if you wanted to boost sounds to your recorder.

Several types of microphone capsules are used to create an even balance of sounds similar to the way a human ear captures sound and the way some animals hear sounds but in a normal or amplified fashion.

This unit uses a mini-stereo socket output that plugs directly to your recorder with mic/line input with included mini-stereo cable. Your recorder Mic input for direct mic hookup and recorder line level if you use an external amplifier connected between the recorder and microphone.

The unit also has a 1/4-20 tripod mount on the bottom for attaching to a tripod, monopod or camera with a cold-shoe adapter.
When renting from us, first-time renters please fill out our rental form. First-time renters may be required to pay a deposit which you will be refunded at the end of your rental. This form will help us and you get processed quickly so you can start renting faster.

You may be asked to pay a deposit on certain rentals which we will invoice you. This deposit will be refunded upon the return of the rental equipment. This is standard procedure on some special or higher-priced items.

We are always working on better ways to make renting easier.

START: If an item is available, you may purchase the rental and write the date you want it delivered. You will see the cost of the 3-day rental and at checkout, you will see the shipping cost to you plus the return label back to us.
DELIVERED: When your rental arrives, ensure everything is correct. Some items may require batteries that are not included in the rental. Some may include rechargeable batteries, and you may want to charge them up prior to using your rental items. Never store batteries in the unit itself until you are ready to use them; this will ensure you have a well-charged battery.
DAY AFTER RENTAL DATE: When you are ready to ship the rental back, tape the return label (that came in your rental box) on the same package and take it to your nearest UPS store, send us a note that it was shipped back so we can verify the rental is being returned. This will allow us to determine when the rental will be back in stock for the next rental customer. If the item shows "Out Of Stock", it means the item has been rented out.
DEPOSIT: If you were asked to make a deposit, The deposit will be refunded back to you upon the return of the rented item. It may be a day or two before you see the refund payment but we will notify you when the refund was sent.
