MAX 360-6

Our MAX360 6-Point unit has 6 strategically placed sensitive bionic microphone capsules in a pattern to simulate human hearing. The microphones also have built-in windscreens to prevent wind noises.

Based on Left and Right hearing as well as Front and Back corners. The unit uses no battery power and is reliant on your recorder's mic input power only.

Several types of microphone capsules are used to create an even balance of sounds similar to the way a human ear captures sounds and the way some animals hear sounds in an amplified fashion. The unit is sensitive enough to pick up man-made contamination in bad wiring, cell signals, RF, VHF/UHF, etc. which would verify contamination to your meters.

This unit uses a mini-stereo socket output that plugs directly to your recorder with mic/line input with included mini-stereo cable. Your recorder Mic input for direct mic hookup and recorder line level if you have an amplifier connected between the microphone and recorder. Record normal sound level recordings at 40%-50% and bionic levels at 100%.

The unit also has a 1/4-20 tripod mount on the bottom for attaching to a tripod, monopod, or camera with a cold-shoe adapter.
