With this option, the OEM IR/UV block filter is replaced with our full spectrum open glass which enables the visible + the Near Infrared spectrum to pass through the sensor up to 1100nm NIR.
Its uses can be for spectral study for those who want to experiment with their own spectral light study. It's also used for art IR photography/video when using external IR filters over the camera lens. The most common use is night vision security with the aid of IR illuminator lights for near-infrared NIR. For 4.35mm, GoPro, DJI.
